About this course

We are constantly using experiments to tweak and find improvements in our personal lives, our communities, and in our work. But are you doing it efficiently? Or are you changing one thing at a time and hoping for the best?

In this course, you'll learn how to plan efficient experiments using statistical methods - enabling you to test for many variables that lead to better results using a few experiments. A key part of the course is how to optimize a system.

We focus on simple tools in the course: start with quick hand calculations, and progress to using free software. The course comes with slides, transcripts of the lectures, subtitles (English & Spanish; some Chinese and French), videos, audio files, source code, and a free textbook. You get to keep, and most importantly, use all of it.

This course is for anyone working in a company, or wanting to make changes to their life, their community, their neighbourhood. You don't need to be a statistician or scientist! There's something for everyone in here.
