
The objective of our Online A-Level Religious Studies Course to develop student's understanding of religion and how it relates to the world. During this course the student will reflect on and develop his own values, opinions and attitudes. The student will look at religion through textual, theological, historical, ethical, phenomenological and philosophical perspectives.
Online A-Level Pure Religious Studies Course Structure

2. World Religions 1: Buddhism

Assessment
The course contains a number of assignments which your tutor will mark and give the student valuable feedback on. These are called Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs).
Examinations
AS Level
- Unit 1 and Unit 2 - Introduction to Religious Studies- Written Examination in each unit: 1 hour 15 minutes
A2 Level
- Unit 3: Studies in Religion- Written Examination: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Unit 4: Religion and Human Experience- Written Examination: 1 hour 30 minutes
AS + A2 = A level in Religious Studies. Both AS and A2 level courses and examinations must be successfully completed to gain a full A level.
